Mamidi Suvrath Chandra, Social Worker and Child Rights Activist, CARPED
M.S.Chandra is a social worker with more than two decade's experience and his achievements include rescuing victims of trafficking, stopping age old tradition of child marriages among Gangireddulagudem, facilitated trainings for dhais (traditional birth attendants) for safe deliveries in tribal hamlets, facilitation helped more than 5000 children get their births registered and certificates, which is first started by him and later replicated in other areas.  He mobilised tribal community for shramadhan, practice NRM & IPM in farming, campaign for rights of children. He is also the head of a team which conducted the first social audit on NREGA works in Anantapur, social audit on aanganwadis.

He facilitated, mobilised funds and also helped the technical team in construction of overhead water tanks, laying water pipelines for safe drinking water, provided water in 10 habitations. He designed and developed educational kits for preschool children which are used by more than 200 schools in AP.  He designed and developed models of weeders for farmers, sunshades, first aid kits and water trolleys for wage seekers at worksite (NREGA).


He is also a master trainer on NLP and been a trainer for number of NGOs and institutions on capacity building of staff and personality development.

MamidiSubash Chandra, Social Worker, CARPED
M.Subhash Chandra is a professional social worker with bachelor's degree in Social work and master's in personnel management. He has around a decade's experience in development sector and having expertise in designing and developing pilot projects includes identifying and exposing the magnitude of hysterectomies, conducting social audits on scholarships given to students of backward communities, study on trafficking in AP and submitted a report with recommendations to the Dept. of women and child welfare, guiding international interns, report on budgets & expenditure in Govt. schools. He heads a team working on comprehensive development of children which includes survival, protection, development and participation rights of children with focus on immunisation, good health, and quality education and providing a good environment for development.

KiranValipaVenkat, Film Maker
Mr. KiranValipaVenkat is BAFTA nominated film Director with a Master’s degree in Film and Animation from the Bournemouth University, UK; with more than 8 years of experience in the media and entertainment Industry, he has to his credit short films, documentaries, corporate films and TV commercials. He is an avid film buff with a keen interest in documentary film making.

ChinmayiGhatrazu, Host and Documentary Presenter
ChinmayiGhatrazu is an accomplished actress and social activist. She is Miss Asia Texas 2010 also won Best Talent award and Best Cultural Representation award for representing India. Also to her credit are Miss India Texas 2008 also won Miss Best Smile and Best Talent for kathak performance. She has worked in several commercials including FedEx Kinkos, TanmaiJewellers, hosted Entertainment Corner for Sulekha TV. She is working on getting her MFA (Masters in Fine Arts) in Film making. She is also a professional Kathak dancer. Her directorial debut “An American Nightmare” won the best short film and best viewer’s choice awards in Texas.

Suresh Babu, Cinematographer
Suresh Babu is trained as an assistant cinematographer under the legendary film maker BaluMahendra for 10 years. He has worked on several ad films, documentaries, corporate films and commercial movies such as ‘Julie Ganapathi’, ‘AdoorKanakalam’, ‘ShankiMahendra’s ‘Autograph’.
